Detailed plans have come forward for the next phase of a housing development at Trentham.

Outline permission was granted to build up to 471 homes, as well as a primary school and health centre, at the Trentham Fields site on New Inn Lane in November 2020.

Detailed plans have also been approved for the first two phases of the scheme for 75 homes. And three more applications have now come forward for the third phase of the development.

The application says Trentham Fields is a 'high quality, low density place to live' (Image via planning application).

The three reserved matters applications provide details for 70 homes, including floor plans, elevations and site layout. A letter submitted as part of the Phase 3a application stated: "Phase 3a connects seamlessly with Phase 2.

"It continues the ethos of the development at Trentham Fields, which is a high quality, low density place to live and visit. A total of 34 detached homes with 4 or 5 bedrooms are proposed with each dwelling carefully placed within a good sized landscaped plot to take advantage of what this part of the site has to offer."
