Plans have come forward for a brand-new cake and coffee shop in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent.

31 Twigg Street is currently a vacant property, but a planning application has been submitted to transform the ground floor into a cake and coffee shop and the first floor into a one-bedroom flat.

The cafe area would comprise a store, staff room, kitchen and waiting / dining area.

The brand-new cafe would create two new jobs - one full-time and one part-time.

The shop would be open from 8am until 7pm everyday including bank holidays.

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months.
