Plans have been submitted to Stoke-on-Trent City Council this week for a brand-new community pavilion at a popular park in the city.

The council wants to demolish the existing pavilion at Middleport Park, Navigation Street, Middleport, and build a replacement one.

The existing building is currently vacant due to its poor condition.

The new pavilion would be built with red and brown brick and have white UPVC windows and doors.

A decision has not yet been made regarding these plans.
