A stolen pick-up truck and trailer has been recovered in Stoke-on-Trent after being taken from a farm.

It comes after Staffordshire Police was called at 3am on Tuesday (11 August) to a farm on Blakeley Lane, Dilhorne, following reports of a burglary

A Toyota pick-up truck and a trailer had been stolen with keys.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "The suspects are believed to have arrived at the scene on a light-coloured motorbike, and are described as three men, each wearing black and balaclavas.

"It followed a report of a similarly suspicious incident in the Blythe Bridge area around 30 minutes before."

The police force said the stolen Toyota was later recovered on Addington Way in Longton at around 10.20am on Wednesday (12 August).

Staffordshire Police inquiries are continuing.
