Offal spillage on M6 leading to delays of over an hour
By Livia Gregor 4th Mar 2026
Motorists are being warned of major delays on the M6 this morning as offal has spilled across the road.
Lanes one, two and three are closed on the M6 between junctions 14 (Stafford) and 15 (Stoke-on-Trent) northbound.
National Highways reported the incident earlier this morning and said it was the result of a broken-down lorry spilling meat onto the carriageway.
There are currently 90-minute delays on the motorway.
Traffic officers are at the scene and specialist contractors will soon arrive to begin clean-up work.
