A North Staffordshire school is celebrating after achieving strong standards in every area assessed in its latest Ofsted inspection.
Springhead Primary School's ambitions for children to achieve their best is "evident in their daily experiences", inspectors said in their report.
Staff were praised for caring for pupils as individuals, placing them at the heart of the community. And pupils "enjoy learning and achieve very well" at the Talke Pits school, the report said.
It added: "Results are consistently above national averages, reflecting the high-quality education they receive.
"Reading is a particular strength; through effective phonics teaching, regular opportunities to read and carefully targeted help, pupils become confident, fluent readers who enjoy books and learning.
"Attendance is a real strength of the school – pupils attend regularly because they feel supported and experience a strong sense of belonging.
"Leaders promote the importance of attendance and quickly identify and address any barriers; when additional help is needed, staff work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the right support.
"Pupils are at the heart of the school community (and) staff ensure that every child feels valued, supported and able to succeed.
"Staff encourage all pupils to aim high, work hard and achieve their best; learning is adapted effectively to build confidence, develop independence and help children overcome barriers.
"Pupils benefit from a caring and inclusive programme that helps them develop into confident, kind and responsible young people. A particular strength is the way staff know and care for pupils as individuals.
"Pupils demonstrate kindness, respect and consideration for others; they value their friendships, celebrate differences and understand the importance of equality and inclusion. Older pupils take pride in leadership roles, supporting younger children and contributing positively to school life.
"Behaviour is consistently positive, bullying is rare and dealt with effectively, and attendance is very high. As a result, pupils enjoy coming to school, engage positively with learning, and are well prepared for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead."
Springhead Primary School is part of Children First Learning Partnership.
Headteacher Ash Jones said: "We are incredibly proud of this report and of the children, staff and families who make Springhead such a special place.
"To be recognised as meeting the strong standard across every area of the inspection framework is a fantastic reflection of the hard work of our whole school community.
"What makes me proudest is that the report captures what we want for every child: to achieve well, feel that they belong and grow into confident, respectful young people.
"I am incredibly grateful for the support Springhead receives from the Children First Learning Partnership. From our directors and central team to colleagues across our schools, we are fortunate to benefit from a wealth of expertise, encouragement and support.
"There is a genuine sense of working together across the trust, and I would like to thank everyone who has supported Springhead and contributed to our continued success."
