Nine new houses could be built on a vacant site in Longton if a planning application is approved.
Felyx Capital Limited has submitted an application to build nine houses on land to the north of Forrister Street in Longton.
If the plans are approved, each house will have two private parking spaces, and an electric vehicle charging point will be provided for each property.
The application said: "The site layout has been planned to create a good blend of street view plus landscaping, allowing for a suitable family size houses with each house boasting of minimum 70square meter of external private amenity spaces each.
"The newly created road to the houses, off Forrister road contains turning point and designed to incorporate walkway on both sides, which replace the footpath that was on the plot of land currently, offering pedestrian connectivity to the open space beyond."
The proposals also feature a bike storage shed provided in the private rear garden of each house as well as a bin storage area for three bins.
Highways Development Control objected to the proposal due to "insufficient information relating visibility and servicing" and has requested that the applicant provides further details such as a Road Safety Audit and Designers response for the site access and internal road.
Planning officers have yet to make a decision on the application.
If the application is approved, it is expected that a more detailed application would be submitted before building begins.
