A new cake shop is set to open in a Stoke-on-Trent town this week.

Cake Box, a franchise which specialises in eggfree cakes, will officially open its latest branch on the Strand, Longton on Friday 15 May.

To mark the opening, the bakery - which sells egg free cakes and products - will be hosting a launch event with free cake slices available for the first 100 customers, 100 free cupcakes for children and product sampling throughout the day.

A spokesperson for Cake Box said: "We're hosting a special launch event on Friday 15 May 2026 from 11am, and it's set to be a fantastic day for the community.

"This will be a free event, open to the public, with plenty happening throughout the day to encourage families, shoppers, and locals to come along and celebrate with us."

Eggfree Cake Box has over 300 locations including Cake Box Stoke in Hanley.

Cake Box Longton, located on The Strand, Longton, will open on Friday 15 May at 11am.
