A model railway exhibition is heading to Stoke-on-Trent this weekend, in support of Midlands Air Ambulance service.

The annual exhibition will return to St John's Primary School in Trent Vale on 25 and 26 July.

"There is plenty to see for all Model Railway Enthuasiasts," said organiser John Cox.

He added: "If people haven't been before, they can come along, have a look, and they can talk to each other about the layouts."

There will be seven trade stalls, approximately 23 layouts covering all gauges, and demonstration stands.

Light refreshments will also be on offer at the event, which has an admission charge of £7 for adults and children under 16 are able to enter for free.

The profits from the event will be split between the hosting school and the Midlands Air Ambulance Service, which was also supported by the exhibition last year.

John explained that the event aims to cater to "budding enthusiasts old and new" and added that he would tell anyone interested in model railways that it is "a very good hobby".

The exhibition will take place at St John's Primary School, Wheatley Avenue, Trent Vale on Saturday 25 July from 10.30am to 5.00 pm and Sunday 26 July 2026 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
