A weather warning for snow has been raised for Stoke-on-Trent from this afternoon.

Put in place by the Met Office, a yellow warning for snow has been in place from 4pm today (Wednesday 18 February) until 6am tomorrow (Thursday 19 February).

The Met Office said: "A period of snow could bring some disruption to parts of Wales, central England and the southern Pennines from Wednesday."

They warned of possible travel delays and explained that "there is a small chance that power cuts will occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, may be affected".

For more information and safety advice visit the Met Office website here.
