A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on conditional bail as detectives continue to investigate the death of a woman in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Donna Ann Reece, 38, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, died at a house on Clayton Lane on Monday (12 October).

Specialist officers are continuing to support Donna's family.

Staffordshire Police has confirmed that a 47-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on conditional bail as enquiries continue.

In a statement released on Monday (13 October) Donna's family said: "We are heartbroken to learn of the loss of Donna. We cannot come to terms with this.

"We would like to ask for privacy at this time whilst the investigation is ongoing."

The police force has created an online portal where people can leave information, CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage they may have.
