Man dies following serious collision on busy Stoke-on-Trent road

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision involving a car in Stoke-on-Trent.

It happened at about 12pm today (Monday 24 June) on Campbell Road when a Range Rover Evoque came into collision with a house and ended up on its roof.

Police went to the scene along with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

The driver of the car, a man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 

No one else was inside the car and no one inside the house was injured.

A cordon has been put in place whilst collision investigators carry out enquiries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Anyone who saw what happened or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area are asked to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident 293 of 24 June, or messaging us using Live Chat on our website.
