Man charged following fire at Stoke-on-Trent shop

A man has been charged following a fire at Farmfoods, Burslem, earlier this week.

John Condliffe, aged 53, from Hanley, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and theft from a shop.

This comes after fire crews were called to Moorland Road in Burslem shortly before 1pm on Thursday (23 May) following a fire inside Farmfoods.

Condliffe is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Saturday 25 May).
