Man arrested after window smashed at takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent

A man has been arrested after a window at a takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent was smashed and three people were assaulted.

Police were called to Ford Green Road, Smallthorne, just before 9pm yesterday (6 March), after damage was caused to a window.

Three people were also assaulted at a home off Oxford Road. They were not seriously hurt and did not require any medical treatment.

A 37-year-old man remains in custody while enquiries continue (SWNS).

A 37-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and affray.

He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
