A 38-year-old man has been charged with 11 burglary and theft offences across Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police has confirmed that Daniel Leech, 38, of Tunstall, has been charged with four counts of burglary and seven counts of theft from a shop.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "It comes following a series of investigations into reported burglaries and thefts at homes and shops in Chell Heath, Abbey Hulton, Norton, Ball Green, Tunstall, Milton and Kidsgrove."

Leech is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 2 September).
