A lorry driver has been caught nearly three times over the drink-drive limit on the M6 at Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police say the driver "completely misjudged" the exit slip on the M6 at J15.

After spotting empty beer bottles in the cab and the driver's "inability to work straight", the driver was breathalyzed and the result read 103 - almost three times over the legal limit of 35.

A police spokesperson wrote on X: "A quick blow through the tube has earned this driver a trip to custody to provide evidential sample".
