A brand-new defibrillator has been installed outside Cornwell's Chemist in Newcastle-under-Lyme (Leek Building Society).
A brand-new defibrillator has been installed outside Cornwell's Chemist in Newcastle-under-Lyme (Leek Building Society).

A life-saving defibrillator has been installed on Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre, thanks to Leek Building Society.

The award-winning building society has pledged to install 100 new defibrillators across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire.

The second defibrillator has been installed outside Cornwell's Chemist on Newcastle's High Street.

Leek Building Society has pledged to install 100 defibrillators across Staffordshire and surrounding areas (Nub News).

Richard Czapski, Branch Manager at Leek Building Society Newcastle, said: "We're delighted to have installed a defibrillator outside Cornwell's Chemist in Newcastle.

"Cornwell's is the latest local business we've been able to work with to see this fantastic scheme make a real difference in our community."
