UPDATE: All lanes reopened on M6 following vehicle breakdown and spillage

All lanes have now reopened on a section of the M6 northbound following a vehicle breakdown and spillage.

There are residual delays of around 12 minutes after all four lanes on the M6 northbound between J14 and J15 have reopened.

Specialist clean up crews attended the scene.

National Highways said: "M6 northbound between J14 and J15 in Staffordshire all lanes have reopened following a vehicle breakdown and spillage.

"There are residual delays of 12 minutes and one mile of congestion on the approach."
