Kidsgrove man arrested after police discover more than 40 cannabis plants in Hanley property

A man has been arrested after police officers found more than 40 cannabis plants at a property in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Staffordshire Police were called to an address at 2.15am this morning (Tuesday 15 August) in the Hanley area following reports of suspicious activity. 

On arrival at the address, they found more than 40 cannabis plants at the address. 

Shortly after, the plants were seized and a man was located. 

A 22-year-old man from Kidsgrove has been arrested and remains in custody (Staffordshire Police).

A 22-year-old man, from Kidsgrove, was arrested on suspicion of burglary – with intent to steal. 

He remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
