Hanley Bodycare to shut this week amid nationwide wave of closures

A Stoke-on-Trent Bodycare store is among a batch of 30 shops set for closure after the retailer collapsed into administration earlier this month.
Administrators for the high street beauty chain said it was no longer viable to keep all the stores open due to stock shortages and operating costs.
The latest wave of closures includes the Hanley store on Lamb Street which will close on Thursday 18 September.
The latest closures come on top of those announced on 5 September, leading to the loss of 450 jobs nationally.
A spokesperson for the administrators, Interpath said: "Given the shortage of stock and costs associated with operating stores, it is no longer viable to continue to trade all 115 stores retained on appointment
Nick Holloway, managing director at Interpath and joint administrator, said: "We'd like to express our sincere thanks to the hundreds of dedicated Bodycare staff who have shown such professionalism since our appointment.
"We will continue to trade the remaining 85 stores while we remain in discussions with interested parties with the aim of preserving as much of the business as possible."
