Four men arrested after around 200 cannabis plants found in Stoke-on-Trent

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences after responding to reports of a burglary in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to Honeywall, Stoke, at 10.55pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 February) following reports that a group of people had forced their way inside an address.

Around 200 cannabis plants were found inside two addresses at the scene. All of the plants have now been seized.

While at the scene, officers spotted a vehicle in the area which was later stopped. Police found approximately £3,000 in cash, a small amount of cannabis and other items following a search.

Four people were arrested:

  • A 33-year-old man, from London, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and driving without a licence
  • Three men, aged 31, 23 and 21, all from Stoke-on-Trent, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.

They all remain in custody.
