Four arrested after 100 cannabis plants and BB gun found in Stoke-on-Trent

Four men have been arrested after police found 100 cannabis plants and a BB gun at a property in Stoke-on-Trent.

Following reports of a suspected break-in, police found the grow at a property near Market Street, Longton, just before 8.45pm yesterday (28 May).

A total of 100 plants were discovered inside the address, along with equipment used in the production of cannabis, including lights and transformers. Police also seized a BB gun. 

Four men were arrested and have since been released on conditional police bail (Staffordshire Police).

A 21-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. 

A 35-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of burglary. 

A 25-year-old man, of no fixed address, and a 20-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to steal. 

All four men have been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
