Five apprenticeships in Stoke to apply for this National Apprenticeships Week

This week (6-12 February) is National Apprenticeships Week and there are lots of opportunities around Stoke if you are interested in an apprenticeship.

Don't forget there is an Apprenticeship Careers Fair at Port Vale Football Club on today (8 February) until 6pm.

Estate Agent Administration Apprentice - Hunters Estate Agent

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of and learn alongside an estate agent team. Working with the Branch Manager and the sales/lettings team to give great customer service and hold true to company and legal standards. Supporting and engaging with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers.

During the apprenticeship the successful candidate will work alongside a small and effective team, learning all aspects of the business and assisting to carry out day-to-day tasks

Accounts Apprentice - WordUnited 

WordUnited Ltd are seeking to recruit an apprentice to work alongside the bookkeeper to carrying out routine financial activities and support. The successful candidate will be learning with on-the-job training while attending Newcastle College for the 'study day' for one day per week.

Hairdressing Apprentice - Westbury Hair

  • Greeting clients, providing refreshments, and helping to maintain the salon appearance
  • Reception duties including electronic scheduling of appointments and taking payments
  • Supporting stylists with various hairdressing duties
  • Advising clients on hair care
  • Preparing the clients for their consultation and ensuring they have a relaxed experience
  • Completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent position for the right person

Early Years Apprentice - Ipstones Tiny Tots

To work as an early years educator in our Seedling Room looking after children aged from 6 months to 2.5 years. Gain enough knowledge and experience to be key person to a small group of children with an aim of becoming a valued member of our staff team.

  • Supporting children within their play

  • Undertaking children's care routines including changing nappies, feeding etc.
  • Adhering to the settings policies and procedures
  • Safeguarding the children at all times

Data Technician Apprentice - R K Wholesale

Due to the massive growth and success over the year we have are looking to expand our teams by offering multiple roles to our data technician team and are looking for full-time engineers to help both support our existing on-prem systems and work on their replacement cloud-based enterprise level systems. You will source, format and present data securely in a relevant way for analysis.
