Child in ‘critical condition’ taken to hospital following medical incident in Cheadle

A child in a 'critical condition' has been taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital after suffering a medical incident in Cheadle this morning. 

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the air ambulance were called to Tape Street, Cheadle, at around 10.45am. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found a young child in a critical condition. 

"Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support before the patient was conveyed via land ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital for further treatment."
