A well-known second-hand goods store has reopened its Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, branch after it closed down only last year.

Cash Converters, on Stafford Street, closed down in June 2023 after trading for 13 years.

On Saturday (3 February), the store reopened under new management.

A spokesperson told Nub News: "Our franchise group is tremendously pleased to open its 30th store in Hanley, and more importantly bring the business back to such a great town.

"The store will become part of our 'Staffordshire Team' as we also operate in Longton, Newcastle- under-Lyme and Stafford.

The store stocks a huge range of technology, DVDs, household appliances and games consoles (Nub News).

"The branch will be open 7 days a week and will offer all services, every day, including; retail, purchasing second-hand goods, our unique buy-back service and jewellery pawn broking. We aim to service our Hanley customers by buying everything and anything as long as it is safe to do so.

"Our initial priority is simply to get the branch back open, we know from feedback in the other Pottery stores how much it has been missed. Over the coming months, we will be investing in the branch to improve the customer experience and to allow for a much greater range of stock to be on offer.

"Our excellent, and experienced team look forward to welcoming customers old and new.

The store is open 9.30am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
