A brand-new charity shop is set to open on the lower level of The Potteries Centre in Hanley next week.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity confirmed on Monday (7 August) that it will be opening its first Stoke-on-Trent store.

The charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulance helicopters and a fleet of critical care cars which serve the communities across six Midlands counties, including Staffordshire.

The Stoke-on-Trent store will directly help boost lifesaving funds for the charities vital pre-hospital emergency service.

In a social media statement, the charity said: "We are very excited that our Stoke-on-Trent Charity Shop opening will take place on Monday 14th August at 11am."

The brand-new store will open on Monday 14 August at 11am (Nub News).

Ahead of the launch, the charity is appealing to the local community for donations of pre-loved quality goods to help stock its new store.

Items include quality furniture, electricals, clothing, shoes, toys, bric-a-brac, books and media and linen.

Donations can be taken directly to the store from 14th August.

Opening hours for the new store are yet to be confirmed, but customers can shop online 24/7 using their online store.
