A body has been found at a South Wales seaside resort in the search for a Staffordshire man.

South Wales Police has confirmed that a body has been found in the search for Lee Butler, a 36-year-old, who was last seen on Tuesday 26 May.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "A body has been found in the search for Lee Butler, from Staffordshire, who was last seen on Tuesday, 26 May.

"While formal identification has not yet taken place, Lee's next of kin have been informed.

"Our thoughts are with them."
