Stone Medical Clinic is a "small and friendly" private clinic based in the heart of Stone town centre.   

The clinic, on Radford Street, opened in May 2023 and provides a whole range of services including health care, weight loss, phlebotomy, health checks, medicals, assessments and consultations.  

Dr Cat Anderson has been a doctor for over 25 years and she now works as one of the caring and professional GPs in the practice.

She told Nub News: "It's a small and friendly clinic, very much focused on personalised medicine, so every single person is seen as an individual and receives detailed care.  

"As a GP you expect to see anything, we can deal with anything that would go to a general practice so everything through mental health, physical health, elderly through to children, but my niche is in women's health.  

"I have extra qualifications and experience in women's health and I tend to do a lot of work with menopausal ladies - I look in detail at that sort of thing." 

For general GP appointments, the clinic aims to see all patients within a week and appointment times are very generous as Dr Anderson aims to "get to the crux of every problem".  

Dr Anderson continued: "All initial appointments are thirty minutes long, although women's health appointments are around 45 minutes because there's so much to cover.  

Dr Anderson specialises in women's health and does a lot of work with menopausal ladies (Stone Medical Clinic).

"You can get so much achieved in half an hour - this is so much longer than NHS appointment times. 

"I'm very lucky in that my patients don't mind waiting a little longer because they know I'm very thorough and I'll really delve into each problem.  

"Our feedback is overwhelmingly positive - we've not had one negative review so far - usually it's incredibly positive."
