Family-owned and run Swansway Motor Group has recently partnered with four community foundations with plans to support them in 2024.
Partnering with The Community Foundation for Staffordshire on behalf of their Stoke Audi, Stafford Audi, Stafford Land Rover and Stafford Motor Match retailers, Swansway has donated £5,000 to the cause.
With this donation, Swansway has created its own fund and is looking for causes in the Staffordshire area to submit their grant proposals. Details on how to submit a grant proposal can be found here.
Leanne Macpherson, Head of Programmes and The Community Foundation for Staffordshire said: "We know that locally based organisations offer a huge amount of support to people in their communities, but they often need financial help to be effective We are delighted to be working with Swansway Motor Group on a scheme that will help to provide that support."
Swansway Motor Group have also recently partnered with Cheshire Community Foundation, Forever Manchester, and Community Foundation for Lancashire.
Swansway's decision to partner with more community foundations comes from the benefits of working with the Cheshire Community Foundation. All community foundations carry out thorough due diligence procedures to ensure the grants given to each cause are utilised in the most effective and impactful way.
Further to this, the community foundations support causes of varying scales, to always focus on those most in need. The community foundations also support causes that benefit as many people as possible in the most effective way possible, with a concentration on longevity and sustainability for the chosen causes.
Swansway Motor Group Director David Smyth said: "It's our pleasure to be partnering with the community foundations in these areas, at Swansway Motor Group we often give back to the local communities where we have a dealership, and these partnerships will help us to support important causes and tackle issues in the local area that we may not have been aware of without the brilliant work of the teams in Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire and Staffordshire."
