Swansway Motor Group has announced a duo of promotions at one of the Stoke-on-Trent dealerships, Stoke Audi.

Alex Hill has progressed into the role of Sales Executive whilst Lauren Mcnicholas has advanced her career moving into a Digital Merchandiser role.

Their recent promotions represent a rapid progression for both Alex and Lauren during their time at Swansway.

Alex joined the business in February earlier this year in the role of Digital Merchandiser and it was not long before his Sales credentials were recognised formally with this promotion.

Meanwhile Lauren, who has experience in photography and social media acquired while working in beauty, joined Swansway in July 2022 and quickly made her presence felt around the Stoke Audi site in her role as Receptionist, she has now transitioned over into the role of Digital Merchandiser.

Both promotions follow the recent appointment of Simon Handy as Sales Manager at Stoke Audi, someone Alex credits with helping make the step into a Sales role. Alex told us: "Everyone has really helped me settle into the new role, it's a challenge but one I'm really enjoying. I'd like to say thank you to Simon for helping to make the move possible." 

Lauren echoed this sentiment:"We're a very close-knit group here at Stoke Audi, everyone has helped me with the new Digital Merchandiser role and this sense of camaraderie is essential for us to continue achieving the high standards we set ourselves."

This team ethos was brought to the fore recently, when Alex and his partner welcomed their firstborn into the world. Upon his return to work, the team greeted Alex with flowers and a teddy bear to celebrate his recent news.

"The gesture reaffirmed my desire to be part of a brilliant team at Stoke Audi and it shows the family values of Swansway."

Following Alex's appointment as a Sales Executive, Simon Handy, Sales Manager at Stoke Audi said: "When I arrived at Stoke Audi it was immediately clear that Alex would make an excellent Sales Executive. The skills he has picked up in his role as a Digital Merchandiser as well as in previous roles communicating with professional athletes have equipped him brilliantly for the role and I cannot wait to see what he achieves.

"Lauren's passion for the cars is really evident and the role a merchandiser plays is essential to customer experience and the sales process so I'm excited to see what she brings to the role."
