Drivers across Stoke-on-Trent are continuing to embrace electric mobility, as our partners at BYD Stoke celebrate reaching 250 vehicle sales since opening its doors back in May 2025.

The milestone has been achieved steadily, reflecting growing confidence in electric vehicles locally and the dealership's friendly, straightforward approach to helping customers make the switch.

Leading the way has been the BYD Seal U, which has proven to be the most popular model at the dealership.

Customers have been drawn to its spacious interior, impressive electric range with over 300 miles and everyday practicality, making it a strong choice for families and commuters.

While many buyers have come from Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas, BYD Stoke has also welcomed customers from further afield, all looking for expert guidance and a supportive, no pressure buying experience as they move towards electric driving.

David Smyth, Director at Swansway Motor Group, said: "We're proud to see BYD Stoke reach 250 sales.

"It's a fantastic achievement for the team and shows just how much interest there is locally in electric vehicles when customers feel supported and informed.

"The popularity of the Seal U is a great example of how BYD's range is meeting real world needs."

Located on Victoria Road in Stoke-on-Trent, the site continues to build momentum, with the milestone marking an important step in the dealership's growth and its role in supporting the region's transition to electric vehicles.

David added: "This success comes down to the team and the trust our customers place in them.

"We'll keep focusing on making electric driving feel accessible, straightforward and welcoming for everyone who walks through the door."
