Following four successful years of the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge, the charity event is back for its fifth consecutive year and this year, it's bigger than ever.

With an ambitious fundraising target of £15,000, almost double last year's incredible £8,397 total, the challenge is calling on local businesses and community groups to get involved.

Each team that enters will be given £50, with the task of turning it into as much money as possible. The only rules? Activities must be safe, ethical, legal and most importantly, fun!

Not only does the Enterprise Challenge raise vital funds for The Gingerbread Centre, a Stoke based charity supporting homeless families across Staffordshire and Cheshire, but it's also a fantastic team building exercise that sparks creativity and collaboration.

The fundraising window runs for six weeks, from Monday 29th September to Monday 3rd November, giving teams the flexibility to take part in whatever way works best for them.

Jess Druce, Fundraising Manager at The Gingerbread Centre, said:"We're excited to be bringing back The Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge for its fifth year.

"It's always inspiring to see the creativity and enthusiasm teams put into their fundraising and we can't wait to welcome new teams on board this year.

"Every penny raised makes such a difference to the families we support and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who takes part."

In previous years, teams have hosted everything from 'throw a sponge at a Swansway VIP' stalls and bake sales to Halloween fancy dress days, all in the name of raising money for this fantastic cause.

Emma Goodall, Dealership Marketing Manager at Swansway Motor Group, said:"It's our pleasure to once again sponsor the Swansway Gingerbread Enterprise Challenge.

"Last year, our Crewe based, Head Office got involved and there was a real buzz around the workplace.

"We hope other employers enjoy the same fun and excitement while raising money for a brilliant cause."
