Smallwood Vintage Rally takes place on May Bank Holiday Weekend (25th to 27th of May) for three days packed with entertainment. With a host of military, commercial, and logistical vehicles, plus retro campervans there's plenty for the motoring enthusiast to feast their eyes on. The tractor-pulling competition always draws crowds, who stick around for the nightly beer tent which hosts live music and DJs. This year Big Pete and The Grim Reaper are headlining Sunday and Monday with their Monster Truck Car-crushing performance.
  2. Staying in Cheshire, Truckfest Northwest takes place at the Cheshire Showground. The event which was first held in 1983 boasts Monster Trucks arena stunts and celebrity guests.
