Vehicle Technician - HGV/LGV Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 0UU

• Full time, with an alternating two-shift pattern
• Permanent position
• £40,500 - £44,000 per annum

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician HGV/LGV, you ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and reliability of a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly examine all vehicles to assess safety and serviceability
• Diagnose faults and carry out permanent, high-quality repairs
• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all makes and types of vehicles
• Complete service documentation to a high standard
• Report on vehicle condition and recommend necessary repairs
• Out-of-hours on-call work may be available

• Early shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Alternate Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 1:30 PM

The Ideal Candidate

We re looking for a skilled and dedicated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. About you:

• At least three years of motor vehicle workshop experience
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or relevant demonstrated experience
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• An HGV license (highly advantageous)
