Position: Senior Ocean Freight Operator

Location - Fully remote

Salary 30,000 + depending on experience

We are a leading end-to-end logistics solution provider and Freight Forwarding is a key part of this business. We are now seeking an experienced ocean freight operator to join a growing department, currently made up of a team of 7 working remotely.

We are interested in speaking with individuals who possess a strong background in dealing with deep sea export operations primarily dealing with FCL & LCL shipments. Experience managing key accounts is also an advantage.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all forwarding tasks for exports (FCL & LCL), starting from the initial enquiry, and preparation of documentation right through to raising invoices
• Dealing with report entries using various CPC's including, Home Use & CFSP in line with HMRC and Bonded warehouse approval.
• Liaise with, clients, shipping lines, 3rd parties and other forwarders alongside managing key relationships within the organisation
• Arranging import shipments from start to finish
• Customs Entries via CDS
• Invoicing upon final delivery
• Shipment status reports
• Investigating system discrepancies
• Liaising with clients, shipping lines and agents
• Key account management
