Overview We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating reach trucks and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from the racking
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Ability to perform load and unload tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
  • Proficient in basic maths for inventory management and order processing.
  • Experience with materials handling techniques is preferred.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
