The Opportunity

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University's Information and Digital Services Directorate.

The Directorate is responsible for Library and IT and this post is within the IT Service Desk team. The IT Service Desk provides IT support remotely and from a physical Information Point situated within the busy Campus Library.

The service operates into the evening and weekends during term time, and you will be required to support this on a rota with other colleagues.

This role is principally customer facing from our on-campus Service Desk providing technical support but also works with the wider IT team on key university projects.

s the successful candidate, you will have proven experience in customer service. IT skills are important and experience an advantage, but full training will be given so is a good opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT – good people skills are paramount.
