Key Responsibilities: As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital leadership role in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties include:
- Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and service
- Leading and mentoring junior kitchen staff to maintain high standards
- Overseeing food preparation and ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling waste
- Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Assisting in menu development and bringing creativity to seasonal offerings
- Maintaining a calm and focused environment, even during busy service
Experience and Skills Required
- Experienced in high-end or fine dining kitchens
- Energetic, creative, and reliable
