GAMITY CIC
5th Apr 2026
Gamity is a community-focused gaming initiative designed to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children and young people aged 6–18. Starting with pop-up gaming events and working towards a permanent community gaming centre, Gamity aims to provide a structured space where young people can socialise, learn, and take part in casual video game competitions in a positive and supportive setting. The organisation focuses heavily on safeguarding, wellbeing, and accessibility, ensuring that all participants—including those with disabilities or additional needs—can take part comfortably.
Gamity combines modern gaming culture with youth development principles, offering a supervised alternative to unstructured online gaming while encouraging teamwork, creativity, and responsible digital behaviour.
Through organised events, workshops, and an online platform, Gamity will provide services such as casual gaming tournaments, community events, online competitions, and educational sessions around digital safety, mental wellbeing, and healthy gaming habits. Participants will also be able to earn "G Tokens" through engagement, achievements, and positive contributions such as homework completion or community activities, which can be redeemed for merchandise or competition entries. This reward-based system encourages positive behaviour and community involvement while making participation more engaging. Overall, Gamity aims to strengthen the local community by offering a safe after-school and weekend activity hub that supports social connection, skill development, and confidence building through gaming.
