3-month Fixed Term Contract Competitive salary 7am-4pm Mon-Thur / 7am-3pm Fri
Main duties:
- Managing daily purchase orders for raw materials and packaging to meet customer and manufacturing needs with precision and efficiency.
- Analysing and interpreting MRP data to identify changes in demand and respond with agility, ensuring uninterrupted supply chains.
- Providing comprehensive reporting on SKU, stock and spend management to help inform strategic decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing and supplier information, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have access to the most current data.
- Monitoring vendor performance closely, including tracking non-conforming deliveries and taking appropriate action to ensure quality supply and avoid supplier dependence.
- Ensuring that price lists are current and accurate, and conducting regular stocktaking exercises to maintain optimal inventory levels, both physically and administratively.
- Keep up to date with despatch duties / stock adjustments from despatch
- Any other admin duties
What we're looking for:
- 1+ years experience in a similar role
- Prior manufacturing experience would be desirable and experience in a similar purchasing position
