Responsible for maintaining company ISO Quality Management System and quality standards, identifying areas for quality improvement and coordinating improvement initiatives.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, assessing potential risks and implementing effective safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage company ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Conduct Management System audits against ISO 9001
  • Manage and contain non-conforming parts and processes
  • Perform inspection activities as required
  • Maintain and enforce Health and Safety policies
  • Conduct Health and Safety Risk Assessments and Audits
  • Produce Health and Safety Method Statements and Plans
  • Maintain COSHH assessments
  • Maintain Fire Risk assessment
  • Maintain safety awareness training sheets

Requirements:

Essential

  • Knowledge of IS0 9001 Quality Management System requirements
  • Experience in conducting Quality System Audits
  • Experience of quality/lean tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, Control Charts, Histograms
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral) at all levels
  • Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Computer literate with good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work well in a team and influence others
  • Current driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience conducting Health and Safety Assessments and Audits

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:

  • Level 4 in Quality/Engineering
  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification
  • ISO 9001 audit trained
