Our client is a market-leading company in a niche sector who have been established for over 60 years, in the supply, manufacture, design, installation, and service of engineering equipment. They are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their team as a CAD & Project Coordinator. The role of CAD & Project Coordinator is a great opportunity for someone with AutoCAD experience. You will be working within a small team and the position will involve supporting the progress of new contracts from design to procurement of materials. Duties for the CAD & Project Coordinator will include:
  • Generate drawings using 2D AutoCAD
  • Produce part lists
  • Supporting various projects and contracts
  • Procurement of materials on a competitive price basis
  • Feedback to the manager regarding market trends and customer requirements
  • Build rapport with customers to assist with their enquiries
  • The CAD/Project Coordinator will also complete site visits as and when required
  • Communication at various levels
It would be good to see candidates for the CAD & Project Coordinator role with the following:
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • AutoCAD experience is essential be able to generate 2D drawings
  • Confident in procuring materials
  • A good multitasker
  • Able to work within a demanding role
  • A professional and personable approach to workloads
  • Driving licence is essential
